Connecting Your Bank Feeds To Xero
Bank reconciliation now happens on the move rather than at a desk, with Xero you can connect your bank feeds making reconciliation a breeze.
Connect Your Starling Account
From your Starling account menu, tap Marketplace > Browse Marketplace > Accounting > Xero > Add
Tap ‘Open in app’ when prompted and ‘Approve’ for Xero to access your Starling data, then log in to your Xero account.
Choose which business you want to connect and tap ‘Allow’ for Starling to access your Xero data (this will be Crossland Cleaning).
Select the Xero account you want to connect to then choose the date from which you’d like to share your transaction data.
You’ll be directed back to the Xero description page which should display as ‘Added’.
To view your Xero data from within the Starling Marketplace, exit the Marketplace and reopen to view
Connect Your Tide Account
To get started, visit web.tide.co/accountancy-software (to access your account, you will need to scan the QR code from within your mobile-app) and click on “Accountancy software” in the left-hand navigation bar.
After you click “Connect”, you will be redirected to Xero – you’ll need to enter your login details, to select your organisation, and grant Tide access. Once this is complete, you’ll be taken back to Tide to enter your sync settings.
Select which of your Tide accounts you’d like to create a bank feed for. We’ll match your Tide accounts to any existing accounts in Xero.
Choose the start date for the sync, or else feed your entire transaction history to date.
Tap “Sync” accounts to finalise. Tap “Accountancy software” for an up-to-date summary of the sync status of your accounts.
